The Most Frequent Ways I Use HOCl Hypochlorous Acid These Days (Newsletter No. 47)

For Hygiene I use Briotech Topical Skin Spray*:
1. Since the beginning of the pandemic (and that I’ve mentioned here & here & here), I’ve been thoroughly spraying HOCl on the inside and outside of my mask (also, I’m always looking for mask recommendations if you have any!). Btw, did you know that HOCl was approved as a disinfectant by the EPA, fwiw.
2. Before I leave the house and after I come back, I spray HOCl up my nose, like a nasal rinse. Many doctors seem to agree that the prime location that respiratory viruses collect and infect is in the nasopharynx, whether you’re vaccinated or not (they also suggest gargling with antiseptic mouthwash). It also just seems like a helpful protocol regardless of pandemic.
3. I use HOCl as hand sanitizer

1. In the kitchen, I use HOCl to disinfect & deodorize my cutting board
2. I use HOCl refresh my bedding between washes
3. I use HOCl to disinfect & deodorize Airbnbs, doing a general spray into the air and high touch surfaces—especially in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom
4. I spray HOCl on my toothbrush and Invisalign trays
