(Insert Unit of Time Pertinent to Present) Takeaways (NewSletter No. 65)

Mental health will always take precedent over physical health. Engaging in physically healthy habits may trigger a ripple effect towards emotionally healthy habits throughout all social spheres resulting in an overall well-rounded life, but as long as your soul is unsettled, a torturous mind will override any physiological benefits. It takes a deep intrinsic will/willfulness/willingness to want to be happier.
I know someone who spends $$$ and time on skincare, wakes up at dawn, exercises daily, walks far, eats only whole foods, and gets biweekly massages. But their brain is such an ugly, chaotic, bitter place that it stresses the body much more than the healthy habits help it, so much so that they have ignited multiple chronic illnesses.
